This is the real interface with sample figures. A 7-day trial gives you the same screen with your own records in it. Click any item in the sidebar to open its specification.

What this screen is for

A backup on the same machine is a second copy of the thing that will be lost. These go to storage somewhere else entirely, compressed and encrypted with AES-256 before they leave the server, and every one is read back and decrypted immediately after upload — if what landed does not match what was sent, the run reports a failure rather than a success. A backup nobody has restored is a rumour.

What it does

  • Uploaded to S3-compatible storage — Spaces, B2, S3 or your own MinIO
  • Encrypted on this machine, so the store never holds readable data
  • Verified by reading back and decrypting, not by trusting the upload
  • The key lives in the environment; a stolen bucket is useless without it
  • Old backups pruned on a schedule, always keeping the newest seven
