Most school magazines are produced in a panic in the last fortnight by one exhausted teacher. This gathers material all year, because the events, trips, results and achievements are already recorded. Alongside it, a standards assessment across six areas that issues a certificate with a publicly verifiable code — and a directory listing that says "listed, not verified" when a school has not been assessed, rather than letting it look as though it has.
